• Full-time; Hourly: 40-hour work week, Generally Monday through Friday. Shift flexibility is required i.e., 2nd shift coverage. O.T. is infrequent but necessary.
• Printing of payroll / Mainframe application

Responsibilities include:

• Learn complete operation of Copy Center print, reproduction and bindery operation
• Operate Xerox high-speed copiers via the proprietary Xerox controller
• Copy/Print bindery functions including operation of hydraulic paper cutters, shrink wrap conveyer/oven, mechanical folder/collator, production folder/inserter, application of spine adhesive, etc.
• Replicate hard copy and digital images using Xerox equipment including store, office and distribution payroll, training materials, various signage, compliance materials, etc.
• Schedule incoming jobs by completion date, machine type, ensure due dates are adhered to
• Proof incoming and outgoing work for print accuracy
• Work with job requestors to ensure adequate lead time, job cost estimates and efficient use of color copy vs. B&W copy
• Inventory of supplies and recommendations for replenishment
• Handle incoming calls and issues from stores, vendors, and other internal parties
• Collect data/information for department use in special projects or reports
• Update information and reports electronically
• Other duties as necessary

Position requires:

• Word processing skills: Word / Excel /PowerPoint /Outlook
• Knowledge of Adobe products including Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat a plus
• Ability to lift materials routinely weighing 20lbs
• Well-defined organizational skills; Excellent telephone skills
• Outstanding eye for detail is a MUST
• Mainframe Knowledge
• Ability to work independently; Ability to work through a situation in the absence of Supervisor
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work through interruptions
• Professional attitude for interaction with vendors and Jewel-Osco stores

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
